Starting your own baby, your way, right from the beginning forges an unbreakable bond between pony and human.  Here at Mountain Spring Farm this is understood and you are invited to visit our youngstock.  As a rule, the youngsters are not started under saddle until they are 3.5 to 4 years old (Mainly because I am 5'8" and I want the ponies growth plates to be fused) or in harness before their 3 year-old year at the earliest.  All of the youngstock are handled daily, receive regular farrier care, vaccinations, and are schooled in age-appropriate skills including leading, tying, trailer loading (starting as weanlings), lunging/ground driving (starting as 2-3 year olds) and harness or saddle work (starting as 3-4 year olds).  Please view the individual pony for details.  Youngstock selectively offered for sale can be found on our Sales page.
